Located in Montana's beautiful Gallatin Valley, 90 miles north of Yellowstone National Park, is CAKES FROM CABIN RIDGE. Baker and designer Rebecca Nicklin was smitten by the creative medium of decorated cakes when she made her first buttercream rose in Wisconsin in 1973 as she observed her mother and sister practicing their technique for an adult education course. After her marriage she too enrolled in such a 10-week class, and as they say, “the rest is history.” After completing her course she was asked to teach an overflow class of students, and has since taught numerous others in Minnesota and Montana. Over the years she has independently studied the work of masters in the field and has become a talented artist in her own right. In 1982, to her surprise, Rebecca was the grand prize winner in the national Wilton Cake Decorating Contest. Since then she has won other local and national prizes for her work. Her cakes have been pictured in numerous print and on-line bridal publications. She participated in BRIDES

“Cakewalk” in Grand Central Station in New York City, appeared in the accompanying BRIDES publication and was featured on the television program, Roker on the Road. Rebecca was honored to be included in the March/April, 2008 issue of BRIDES in their article, “America’s 50 Most Beautiful Wedding Cakes” and in the July issue: "Top 10 Weddings of the Year." One of her cakes was featured on the NBC Today Show (Top Wedding Cake Trends and Tips).  Most recently she was honored to have a cake included in the inspirational book, Style Me Pretty Weddings (photographed by Jose Villa).

Rebecca has a passion for creating wonderful works of art for your special day. Not only are her cakes beautiful, but they meet high standards of taste. Let her passion radiate joy to those around you as she creates a memorable part of your wedding reception or other special event.
