Call or email us to see if your special date is available on our calendar. At this time you may schedule an appointment for a free hour of consultation. Consultations are by appointment only. We request a $50.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve your date on our calendar. Full payment must be received three weeks before the wedding. 2. What is the cost of your wedding cakes? All of our cakes are custom designed. Their cost is a reflection of variations in flavor, fillings and icings, the detail of the design and delivery charges. 3. Do you place fresh flowers on your cakes? It is highly recommended that realistic sugar (gumpaste) flowers be used on your cake if called for by the design instead of fresh flowers. Most greenhouse flowers have been sprayed with pesticides and residues may be harmful. Many flowers are naturally toxic if ingested. And then, of course, sugar flowers do not wilt in the dry Montana summer heat. You will be asked to sign a liability waiver if fresh flowers are your choice. 4. Do Montana wedding receptions present any special challenges? The location of wedding receptions in our state vary greatly, however, one factor remains constant in most cases......air conditioning is predominantly unavailable. If your reception is to be held outdoors, your cake should be set up out of the sun, preferably in a tent. Keep in mind the limitations of buttercream icing (you may wish to choose rolled fondant). Unprotected locations are often affected by strong winds. Rain is frequent during the month of June, and in recent years July and August have been very hot and dry. August and September are sometimes plagued with the smoke from wildfires. We hold our breaths when cakes are delivered on steep, bumpy gravel roads. And, oh, yes....a map to the reception site of obscure locations is a must! 5. What flavors of cake do you offer? At the current time the following flavors are available. All cakes are baked from scratch with the freshest of ingredients. Please contact us for pricing. Sour Cream Butter Lemon, Almond, Poppy Seed Lemon Poppy Seed Almond Poppy Seed German Chocolate Deep Woods Chocolate Spice Cake Wild Carrot* Italian Cream* (pecans and coconut) Marble* Buttercream, Rolled Fondant* Lemon Curd, Whipped Ganache Cream Cheese Raspberry or Strawberry Jam Flavored Buttercreams: Lemon, Almond, Raspberry, Strawberry, Orange, Praline Crunch, Chocolate Praline Crunch, Huckleberry, Espresso, Chocolate Espresso, Chocolate Toffee Crunch 6.
